Old-School Lolita Wardrobe | My 2024 Wardrobe Post

Decided to do my wardrobe post as a video as I have such a hoard a photo post is now impossible (it's also too hot and I am lazy)

Disclaimer: As said at the start, I have been wearing lolita since 2009. Yes, I have a lot of stuff (and a lot was not included in the video). I do not have kids, I do not have debts, I do not have a credit card - lolita is my main hobby that I spend money on. Please do not make yourself broke trying to attain a wardrobe of this size in a few years. It doesn't happen like that and its not supposed to happen like that.

So much of the joy from this hobby comes from stalking websites for good finds and deals and being selective about what you choose to buy. Most of the things shown in this video are secondhand, lolita fashion highly values the quality of the garments and the details and time that goes into designing and making them. The dresses are not cheap for a reason, they are small and limited production! Don't waste your own time and money buying tons of massproduced crap from Amazon or AliExperess, its poorly made, bad quality most of the time its a copy of a genuine lolita item and no one wants to buy it from you when you decide you no longer want it.

And as our queen Vivienne Westwood says, "Buy less, choose well, make it last"
