Today we take a look at Lackawanna State Park. Yes, I know there are plenty of more gnarly and intense trail system in Pennsylvania, but I have to say that Lackawanna generally flies under people's radar, and it surprises me because it's natural beauty and varying terrain make it such a nice park to visit. Plenty of parking spots to create a variety of loops, multiple different environments that make the riding terrain challenging, and some really strong trail building that is resistant to wet weather due to the shale and roots that hold this place together. Honestly, it is a more XC oriented place, but sometimes a more chill ride that encourages jumping around and linking awkward corners can be just as fun as high-speed berms and machine-built jumps.
