Sonadow Story 1

A sum up of this part:

Sonic, a young blue hedgehog well known by many, discovers that his girlfriend, Amy, had cheated on him once more. What surprises and disqusts him the most is that she had cheated on him for a girl.
He tries to confine his feelings in his best friend Miles Tails Prower, a fox with two tails, but fails miserably. This leads to him trying to think it over on his own in his own time.
While he is out thinking he runs into a couple of reckless teens. One of them attacks him and before they can indulge in a long fight another hedgehog stops him.
Who is he? You may know, but in this AU our hero Sonic does not.
