Nissan Frontier Truck Camping in Spring Mountain Near Las Vegas

This weekend we explore Spring Mountain recreation area in Nevada, driving down Levell Canyon Rd to find a boondocking campsite for a quick overnight truck camp and cook!
A little over an hour outside of Las Vegas - Great way to escape the heat and city life of Vegas BUT it was definitely colder than we expected!
We made some Gouda Bacon burgers for the night which were AMAZING, tested out some new solar capability (Goal Zero Boulder 50) attached to Yeti 400 power bank and had a good time watching the stars for the night (super dark out there so its PERFECT for astrology photography which i'll be doing more of around here).

Make sure to download your maps BEFORE hitting the trail, you lose signal 5 minutes into Lovell rd from the highway.
