Breaking News | Bajrang Punia Appeals For Support In Wrestler Protest Against WFI

One of the top wrestlers of India, Bajrang Punia appeals for more support from wrestlers across the country to come together and raise their voices against WFI and chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh. Earlier, more than 30 wrestlers, including Sakshi Mallik, Vinesh Phogat, and Bajrang Punia, started the protest on Wednesday, 18th January. Vinesh Phogat alleged that the women wrestlers were sexually abused by the federation coaches and chief Brijbhushan. Wrestlers further made allegations that no fair selection is being made and the environment of WFI is very toxic. Vinesh Phogat also alleged that she was mentally abused by Brijbhushan after losing a game in Tokyo Olympics.
