Dear brothers and sisters, peace in Christ. Welcome to our One Chapter per day Bible reading time.
By God’s grace, today we will read Matthew chapter 11. In this chapter, we see John the Baptist sending his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are You the One who is to come?” Jesus answers by pointing to His works—the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, and the poor receive the good news. We also hear Jesus’ tender invitation: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
This chapter reminds us that even in seasons of doubt or weariness, Jesus calls us to come to Him for true rest. His heart is gentle and humble, and He gives peace to all who trust in Him. Let us listen with gratitude and humility to God’s Word together.
