Easily a top 5 favourite wedding experience right here. When Josclyn and Rachit's email popped up the mailbox telling us about their intimate nature-themed wedding, we burst into a happy dance. BUT - we were already booked the day before and the day after for other weddings. We had always sworn to leave the triple headers alone, but couldn't resist. As fate would have it, the two other weddings postponed days later (thanks Covid!) and so we were afforded the opportunity to dedicate ourselves to this amazing couple and their beautiful, intimate celebration. Sometimes the universe conspires to bring people together.

2021 has been one hell of a year. We went from a feeling of dread that we'd have another summer of no weddings to the busiest wedding season of all time. We've filmed larger luxurious weddings and very small backyard weddings and loved every single one of them. But if Danielle and I were ever to get married again (or perhaps renew our vows??), it'd be a heck of a lot similar to Josclyn and Rachit's wedding. Small, personal, our very closest peeps and a weekend away surrounded by nature and tranquility.

Weddings are often hectic and busy. As a videographer, you're always under pressure to be buzz around making sure everything is captured. This day was an absolute breaze though. There were no hard time constraints, no rush or drama. Just a group of happy people having one of the best days of their lives. Josclyn, Rachit and their families were so warm and welcoming that I felt like one of their guests who just happened to be filming as well. In the end, I left their wedding beaming, so excited to put their film together. It was just a beautiful experience and we are very excited to share their story.
