We've got news on Overwatch's first new map! From Blizzard's pre-gamescom video today, Eichenwalde was announced - set in the Black Forest of Germany (as I said in April and before..partial smugface ;)), we'll be fighting on the grounds of a key conflict in the omnic crisis, that lead to the death of the leader of Reinhardt's Crusader Armour wearing order, and many of his brothers in arms :( We also learned a bit more about Bastion's lore connections to this area of the world too, ahead of The Last Bastion short on Thursday!

Castle with winding staircases? Drawbridge? Beerhalls? This map has it all - releasing in September, it's playable tomorrow at gamescom..and, as I'm at gamescom..:)

I'm on the Blizzard Overwatch booth tomorrow morning and able to record lots of Eichenwalde new map gameplay and footage, so do let me know anything you'd like to see!
