8 people have died after a matatu they were in rolled off Ushirika Road and landed in Mbagathi River in the Gataka area of Karen. Six people died on the spot while 2 died undergoing treatment. 19 people were injured in the accident.
14 people are receiving treatment at Karen Hospital with 3 of them in critical state. 3 people are being treated at Ngong Hospital with two more undergoing treatment at St Mary's Hospital.
