The Service Concept is the core of a company's operations - the most central value, the company offers

It is based on values, mission and goals. An example is the airline industry, where the "task" is to move people from A to B. This concept can be further defined by luxury or low-cost companies

Another example is a gas station - here the core is gasoline.

But different customers have different expectations and needs, and the petrol station must therefore be able to offer more than petrol. For example, in the form of a kiosk where soda, cigarettes and more can be acquired.

That is why the facilitating services are important.
