බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ කහටරුප්ප ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි ගලමුදුන විහාරය පර්වතයක් මුදුනේ පිහිටීම නිසා ප්‍රසිද්ධය. පුරාණ මාලිගාවක් සමඟ රහතන් වහන්සේලා භාවනා කළ කුටියක් මෙම පර්වතයට යටින් ඇති බව ජනප්‍රවාදයේ සඳහන් වේ. පන්සලට පැමිණෙන අමුත්තන්ට අවට ස්වභාවික භූ දර්ශනයේ සිත් ඇදගන්නාසුළු දසුන් දැකගත හැකිය.

මාර්ගවල දුර්වල තත්ත්වය හේතුවෙන් යතුරුපැදි, ත්‍රිරෝද රථ සහ වෑන් රථ ගමනාගමනය සඳහා හොඳම විකල්පයන් වීම නිසා පන්සලට ප්‍රවේශ වීම අභියෝගාත්මක වේ.

බදුල්ලේ සිට ගලමුදුන පන්සලට යාමට ආසන්න වශයෙන් 20 Km ක් පමණ දුරින් පිහිටි අතර පල්ලෙවත්තට බස් රථයකින් ගමන ආරම්භ කළ හැක. මෙය වෙනස් විය හැකි නමුත් බස් ගාස්තුව ආසන්න වශයෙන් රුපියල් 100 ක් පමණ වේ. බසයේ නැවතුමේ සිට පන්සලට කිලෝමීටර් 1.5 ක් පමණ පයින් යා යුතුය. ඔබ යතුරුපැදියක්, ත්‍රිරෝද රථයක් හෝ වෑන් රථයක් තෝරා ගන්නේ නම්, ඔබට පන්සලට බොහෝ සමීප විය හැකිය.

Galamuduna Temple - Kahataruppa

Galamuduna Temple, situated in the Kahatharuppa region of the Badulla District, is renowned for its location atop a rock. Legend has it that beneath this rock lies a chamber where Arahants once meditated, along with an ancient palace. Visitors to the temple are treated to stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape.

Accessing the temple can be challenging due to the poor condition of the roads, making motorcycles, three-wheelers, and vans the best options for travel.

To reach Galamuduna Temple from Badulla, take a bus to Pallewaththa, which is about 20 kilometers away. The fare is approximately 100 rupees, though this may vary. After disembarking, you will need to walk about 1.5 kilometers to the temple. If you opt for a motorcycle, three-wheeler, or van, you can get much closer to the temple.
