BeerMKR Spent Grain Bread

Super simple and delicious if you Homebrew I think you should absolutely try making spent grain bread. It’s yet another another thing you can do with grain yeast and water. My recipe is just below! What’s your favorite type of bread?

The Recipe
Pro tip if your not yousing the BeerMKR let the grains sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours to soften up!
1 1⁄8 cups warm water (or wort)
3 cups bread flour (white, wheat or a combination)
1 1⁄2 tablespoons powdered milk
1 1⁄2 tablespoons sugar (or honey)
1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter, cut in small cubes
3 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 to 2 cups spent grain
Combine all ingredients in bread machine. Select wheat or grain setting, large or 2lb loaf and dark crust.
