If I can’t be honest with myself, I’m faking it everywhere else. Today, while getting ready, I felt compelled to look myself in the mirror to encourage and preach TO MYSELF!

I’ve wrestled with unworthiness, fear, shame + doubt for most of my life. But I’m done fighting a battle that’s already been won for me!

As much as I’d love for God to just zap every bit of insecurity out of me, I’m seeing that there is deliverance in my discipline—my daily decisions to simply follow the lead of his Holy Spirit rather than my natural tendencies.

I’ve leaned too long on me, and can’t keep being ashamed of my weaknesses. Instead, I must throw them on God, take up his strength and keep my eyes fixed on him + the truth of who he’s called me to be!

I pray these words snap every shackle of fear + shame that has held your mind captive.

I pray God’s perfect + unwavering love becomes the rock you build your life upon rather than yourself.

I pray your commitment to following him + your discipline to say no to anything less than what he’s called you to and made you for becomes the agent of your deliverance.

I pray this compels your to stand before your own mirror to talk to yourself in the way your soul desperately needs to hear it.❤️
