► It was once considered a death sentence but now the Government's pledging to make HIV a thing of the past. The Health Secretary's made a commitment to eliminate new transmissions in England by 2030.

According to the latest figures, just over 100,000 people are living with HIV in the UK. It's estimated around 7,800 of them don't know they have it and, in 2017, there was a 17% drop in HIV diagnoses.
