I honestly did not think this day would come. Understatement of the year- THIS VIDEO WAS A BITCH TO FINISH. I've never been so frustrated by a video in my life. I literally had to render this out upwards of 50 times. It was probably closer to 100, especially considering I ended up having to render it out in parts (which I've never done before) and then join it and convert it and HOLY SHIT I AM SO GLAD THIS IS FINISHED. I have never in my life shed a tear at the completion of a video. Until today. I literally cried because this video was FINALLY finished. This project was completely non-complient and has made my life a living hell over the past two weeks. This was made worse by the fact that I couldn't render it out without having random intervals of pixel distortion. I probably spent a total of three months working on this project, maybe longer. It's been awhile. I seriously think I will spend the rest of my life cringing whenever I hear "Lonely Boy".

BUSTER KEATON!! My love for this man is infinite. I don't think I can put my love for Buster into words. He is a flawless human being, filmmaker and actor. His films are sensitive, hilarious and out of this world. He literally put his life on the line in every single one his films and, because of this (and his extraordinary directorial talent), his legacy is unperishable. Most people don't remember him as fondly as they do Charlie Chaplin- I believe this is a mistake. Many people have asked me who I prefer, Chaplin or Keaton? I have tried comparing the two of them and the best answer I can come up with is that Chaplin is the better filmmaker and Keaton is the better comedian.

For those looking to explore the Keaton filmography, my favourite feature films are "The General", "Steamboat Bill Jr", "Sherlock Jr", "The Navigator" and "Go West". My favourite short films are "The Goat", "Neighbors", "The Play House" and "The Haunted House". He's an incredibly timeless comedian and I recommend you all check out his work.

Originally this video featured only Buster Keaton's solo short and feature films, but after spending days rendering and re-rendering, I decided I needed to use some of his collaborations with Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle to flesh the video out. I have to thank those on Tumblr who gave me recommendations of which films to watch from the Arbuckle/Keaton collection. Without you, this video would be sitting in Sony Vegas, uncompleted. Though I didn't use many clips from those films, it helped FINISH the video (which is something I couldn't do until I decided to use the Arbuckle films). Plus, who doesn't love when we get a rare glimpse at the Buster Keaton smile?!

You'll have to excuse some of the quality in this video. These films range from 1917 to 1929, that's OLD footage. It's almost 100 years old. I think it's holding up remarkably well considering.

I really hope you all enjoy this video. I literally put blood, sweat and tears into it. It's my baby.
