Trimming Cat's Nails with a Dremel

This video is an introduction to using a dremel to trim pet's nails. Training of any animal should begin with the goal of gaining acceptance first. Never dominate an animal into submission as that method can train a lifetime of underlying fear and resentment.
Start slowly and keep your cat or dog comfortable and relaxed. Don't assign a time frame in accomplishing this. If you have something else to do, go do that first so you're not tempted to rush this process. Follow the principle of "First Do No Harm". Remember that showing agitation is your pet's way of communicating it's not working for them right now. So stop. Regroup. Then try again after they've relaxed. It takes time to build lifelong trust and moments to ruin it.
Dremel nail trimming is a good way pet parents can keep nails in check but it isn't for all.
