Crusader Kings 2 is one of the flagship titles from Paradox Development Studio. It is a pausable real-time grand strategy game, similar to Hearts of Iron and Europa Universalis, but with a focus on the people of the time rather than the nations. The campaign is fully open-ended and can last up to 600 years or so, wherein you set your own objectives and goals. World domination is certainly not too far-fetched, as long as you ensure your vassals remain happy as you stomp other nations into submission. Will you be a benevolent ruler and try to make everyone happy, at the risk of fracturing your country? Or will you be a tyrant and only look out for your own, while taking out anyone that dares go against you?
