বাংলাদেশ ভ্রমণে নেই ইলেক্ট্রনিক বা ই-ভিসা ব্যবস্থা। এতে বিমানবন্দরে ইমিগ্রেশন জটিলতার শঙ্কায় অনেক বিদেশি পর্যটক আগ্রহী হন না বাংলাদেশ ভ্রমণে। বিদেশি পর্যটক বাড়াতে দ্রুতই সরকারকে ই-ভিসা চালুর সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হবে, এমনটাই মনে করেন অংশীজনরা। প্রাথমিকভাবে কয়েকটি দেশকে অনুমোদনের পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন তারা। পর্যটন বোর্ড ও সিভিল অ্যাভিয়েশন জানিয়েছে, তৃতীয় টার্মিনাল কেন্দ্র করে এ ব্যবস্থা নিয়ে আলোচনা চলছে।

There is no electronic or e-visa system for traveling to Bangladesh. Many foreign tourists are not interested in traveling to Bangladesh due to the fear of immigration complications at the airport. The stakeholders believe that the government should quickly decide to introduce e-visa to increase foreign tourists. Initially, they have suggested approval to a few countries. The Tourism Board and Civil Aviation said that discussions are underway on this system centered on the third terminal.
