When Morgan Katnick left us a review explaining how his Ombraz protected his eyes from debris during a gnarly plane crash - we sent our film team to interview Morgan as he rehabbed a broken back - to hear his first-hand account of the crash and to inquire if we could help in any way. Check out the litte mini doc we put together detailing the whole crash.

‘When my engine failed, I was west of Rifle, CO. My options were to land on I-70 and risk being blown into the Colorado River or try and land in a flat field with power lines on either side. I pointed the airplane toward the field and tried to get the engine to come back to life, but had no success. I pulled up to miss the power lines, at which point the airplane stalled and I free-fell about 100-200 feet into the dirt below.’

Recovery is going amazingly well! Probably one in a million odds, but I’ve been back flying, full body recovery, and no lasting issues including no pain! I really couldn’t be happier or luckier!
