My educated guidelines for New Players are:
Read the servers rules. Be cool. Read the servers rules.

There are times when the server is up, and times when it is down. You will have to catch it when you can.
There is no public discord link for LF. you will have to be lucky enough to catch it while it's live to request an invite.

I cannot help you access their access discord, nor GMod server, and will not know future uptimes.
I have nothing to do with the server directly.
