Two new “rules” changes went into effect on August 18. Here’s the first:

Listing “Agents can no longer offer compensation to buyer agents on Multiple Listing Services (MLS) databases. However, buyers can still negotiate compensation with their agents off-MLS and formalize it in a signed contract.”

This mostly applies to RESALE HOMES.

However, when you buy a NEW COMSTRUCTION HOME, the builder (who is the seller) will STILL pay a pre determined percentage to your agent (just like before).

The percentage a builder pays will vary and if you have any questions about what a builder is compensating your agent, it will be listed in your purchase agreement contract or just ask me 😉

My commitment to you (then and now): regardless of what a builder is compensating me to help you, we’ll ALWAYS do what’s best for you!

I’ll NEVER sway or push you based on a commission check 🙅🏽‍♀️ That’s not how I roll.
