The Ukrainian artist Andrey Mikhailovich Ogurtsov belongs to the modern young generation of painters.
He was born in 1972 in the city of Mykolaiv. At the age of fourteen, he graduated with honors from the children's art school in his hometown. And that's it. He did not study in any specialized (professional) educational institutions after that. During his studies, he participated in many republican exhibitions of art schools in the cities of Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv.
In his free time, he independently mastered oil painting and began exhibiting his works. First in Kyiv, then in Russia, Germany, Italy, the USA, etc.
The landscapes he paints are filled with air. Admiring his realistic paintings, you contemplate all the beauty of the depicted nature, feel the smells, the breath and the music of the sea. You involuntarily want to visit these wonderful, picturesque places. The paradisiacal, cozy corners in Andrey Ogurtsov's paintings are beautiful at any time of day and night, in the morning and in the evening. The transparency and purity of the air, the lush greenery, the quiet surface of the river, the heavenly blue, the sound of the sea surf, bring peace, a good mood, fill you with calmness and positive feelings. This, of course, is where the power of art manifests itself.
Today I want to offer you a small gallery of the artist's works and I hope that the lush greenery, the southern sea, and even the huge snowdrifts in Andrey Ogurtsov's paintings will give you pleasure.
