Pressure Tech Newsletter (October 2024): Introduction from MD, Steve Yorke-Robinson

"A business management book called ‘Traction’ by Gino Wickman was recommended to me several years ago and a section of the book explains the importance of having plans broken down into long term and short term objectives, and prioritising what they refer to as ‘Rocks’ to help achieve these objectives. One of the key phrases that embodies the book is: "A vision without Traction is just an illusion" — this is a philosophy we’ve followed at Pressure Tech for a number of years.

"For the past three months, our ‘Rocks’ have focused on strengthening our sales coverage in India and the USA with the appointment of two new Business Development Managers. We see many opportunities from markets within these regions, so it is with great pleasure to welcome two very experienced additions to the team in Shanmuga Sundaram, who is based in Bangalore, India, and Wade Brandon, who is based in Ohio, USA.

"We have also continued to further expand our range of pressure regulators for use on commercial hydrogen vehicles powered by H2, either as fuel cells, or internal combustion engines. We’ll be displaying our full range of H2 products at the Hydrogen Technology Exhibition in Hamburg towards the end of October; please stop by our stand if you’re planning to visit the show. In the meantime, you can find out more about the work we are doing on our YouTube channel, with new videos posted weekly.
