Madagascar is an African country in the Indian Ocean. It is the fourth largest island in the world, and contains over 5% of the total species found on this planet! This astoundingly high biodiversity is seen nowhere else on earth.

This video is part of a longer film devoted to showcasing the wildlife of Madagascar and what lies ahead for the island. (The entire film can be seen by clicking the link above.) In this video, the Leaf-tailed Geckos (Uroplatus sp.) are featured. Many species are shown in the wilds of Madagascar, as well as many aspects of their behaviour and adaptations.
