Pointillism | Painting the Romance of Paris

Welcome to my video: Pointillism, Painting the Romance of Paris. This is a time lapse video of how I paint a pointillist painting. Paul Signac is a big influence on this one. I am mainly an impressionist painter, and the techniques I employ here are more in keeping with impressionism but the style is more pointillist. I used the edges of a round brush as opposed to the tip which makes my pointillist style looser than a strict pointillist work. But I think the overall effect works nicely.
