This Christmas, I want to share something personal.

A few days ago, I was listening to Linkin Park, and it brought me back to a version of myself I lived with for a long time — quiet, depressed, trying to hold everything together.

I realized something important:
I wasn’t drawn to the sadness in those songs. I felt understood.

Last Christmas, my life looked perfect on paper — a good job, a beautiful home, a loving family, and safety in Canada. Yet inside, I was deeply depressed. External success didn’t bring inner peace.

This Christmas has been one of the best of my life — not because of bigger celebrations, but because of a different inner state. Presence, peace, and real connection changed everything.
