Siren Information:
This siren, labelled as Siren B by Mrmattandmrchay, is in the small village of Braehead, located a few miles north of the State Hospital in Carstairs, and is a Klaxon GP8. This siren is very easy to access- it's next to the Braehead Village Hall, on a very tall pole.

Trip/Video Information:
We travelled to Carstairs in February 2020, intent on doing a full tour of the network once again. Our original plan was to film the Lanark siren, however due to the fact it was snowing, we quickly decided against this. We continued north, and finally got to Forth, and had to decide whether to film Siren A, the CS8 there, or Siren B, the Braehead GP8. As it was raining in Forth at the time, we decided to go to Braehead and set up there.

To record this, I used my Sony Handicap FDR-AX33 with a Sony Stereo Microphone perched on a Gorillapod for the still camera angle, and my iPhone SE (1st Gen) for walk-around shots. It was a VERY windy day- so please excuse the camera shaking and occasional gusts of wind noise- I struggled to find a camera position where the AX33 was sheltered from the wind and still able to record the siren, and being rather heavy, it got quite blown around despite my efforts! I edited this in iMovie owing to my usual editing software on my PC not wanting to export the video in the correct resolution.
