Описание к видео Siobhán Garrigan. The Theology of Home, the Trauma of Displacement | EEIT

Siobhán Garrigan holds the Loyola Chair of Theology at Trinity College Dublin, where she is also Head of the School of Religion, Theology, and Peace Studies. Prior to that, she was Associate Professor of Liturgical Studies, and Associate Dean for Chapel at Yale University's Divinity School and Institute of Sacred Music, where she directed the daily ecumenical worship program from 2002 onwards.

She teaches theology with a particular concentration on issues of social justice. By looking at theology's role in social and political difficulty, her research aims to highlight the many ways theology can also foster dialogue across the boundaries of difference, particularly regarding ecumenism, poverty, and matters of identity, such as gender and racial discrimination.

Her last book was The Real Peace Process: Worship, Politics and the End of Sectarianism, and her next will be A Theology of Home in a Time of Homelessness.

This lecture was given at the Summer School of Theology 2023 "Wounds of Today's World: Doing and Living Theology in the Context of Trauma"
