An alleged Facebook post that was offensive to Muslims has led to large scale violence, arson and communal tension in Basirhat town in West Bengal. Prime Time today discusses how social media posts lead to violence and rioting and asks whether political parties are contributing to escalating tensions instead of helping curb the tension. While chief minister Mamata Banerjee has blamed the BJP for the violence, the BJP on the other hand says that the situation is a fallout of Ms Banerjee's 'Muslim appeasement'. (Audio in Hindi)
