The video guides pupils to work in small groups or pairs to create a rhyme bank. Using their lists, pupils write a rhyming line to follow on from my example line:
There once was a poet called Simon Mole
We also explore how to avoid “rhyme Crimes” - using a rhyming word that has nothing to do with your poem!
