Sambar made by spring onion, a very tasty and healthy recipe ,suits for all your tiffen items,and plain rice.Spring onion cools your body, rich in fiber,good for diabetic people.

Ingredients

Thoor dhal- 3/4 cup, spring onion-2 bunch, tamarind-3'inch ,tomato-2,sambar powder-2 spoon, rasam powder-1/2 spoon, salt, assaffotida,oil,mustrad seeds

Steps

Cook thour dhal along with little turmeric powder. Mash it and keep dhal,and dhal water aside, take pulp from tamarind.
Clean spring onion as shown. Use both leaf, and onion in that.In tamarind pulp add tomato, sambar powder and allow it to boil for 4 minutes. In 2 spoon of oil fry mustard seeds,asffotida, add baby onions, fry for 2 minutes, add leaves, fry for a minute,add this to boiling tamarind pulp.Add dhall, dhal water, salt ,rasam powder,mix well ,Allow it to boil for 2 minutes.
