Prof Tas Tahseen Qureshi

Mr Qureshi is a Consultant Surgeon at University Hospitals, Dorset, in the UK and visiting professor at Bournemouth University. he was appointed as a National Trainer on the LAPCO training programme and has run international laparoscopic masterclass and is regularly invited to lecture and teach minimally invasive surgery.

Mr Qureshi was one of the first surgeons in the UK trained in Robotic Surgery and his hospital was appointed as a European Centre of Excellence. He helps run Robotic Masterclasses for surgeons from other countries. He is also a Proctor at European Academy for Robotic
Colorectal surgery.

Mr Qureshi organised what is acclaimed as the first International Rectal Cancer Symposium with Robotic Surgery to be streamed live on the internet, allowing questions to be asked in real time and offered the viewer both a 360-degree perspective of the operating theatre, as well
as a robots eye view of the inside of the patient.

Mr Qureshi has also set up a successful Enhanced Recovery Programme and was short-listed for the prestigious National patient safety awards for his achievements.
