The 2GIG Go!Control comes pre-installed with a REC2 wireless receiver. The module that comes with the security system is capable of operating in the 345 MHz range, receiving signals from Honeywell devices as well as 2GIG sensors. The XCVR2 is a new transceiver that operates within the 900 MHz range in addition to operating in the 345 MHz range.This allows the transceiver to do two-way communication which is important with such products as the 2GIG TS1, which is the 2GIG touch screen keypad. In this video, Sterling shows us how to take out the REC2 and replace it with the XCVR2.
