Welcome

In this video, i will show you how to install Support package for STM32 F407 Discovery
Board in MATLAB 2018b.

So lets get started

Open the Matlab


Click on get hardware support packages

Click on Embeded coder support package for STMicroelectronics

As i have already installed so it is showing me "Manage Button"

In Your case, It will show you install button instead of
Manage

Click on Install...
And Accept the Licence Agrement..

This support package is functional for R2013b and beyond...

Compatible with R2014a to R2019b

After Installation, Manage button will show up
(Make sure that you have very reliable and fast internet connection while downloading the support package

Else it will not install

Now click on the manage

Now we will install its firmware

Just wait untill all the add on and done loading....

STM32F4DISCOVERY Board firmware package...

Download the Firmware from ST Website
And Save it in some directory on your Pc or laptop

As i have all ready downloaded it here....

Brows to folder where you have downloaded it...
The firmware folder provided is valid...This must shows up...

Now its registering third party software...
Now, your support package for STM 32 is successfully installed and can be used now..


In the comeing videos, i will show you how to use this support package for performming differnet task on
stm 32 f4 discovery board like blinking leds, controlling servo and BLDC motor...

Just to double check, open the simulink and then open its library...
Now you can see that we can use STM 32 Peripherals for making differnet projects on it...
