#SBSAhmedabad organized a mega HR event of SBS- GWFM HR Leaders Summit `21 on 21st August 2021 where 25 CHRO & Senior HR leaders from various sectors deliberated on 'One Step Ahead: Realigning HR for Future Industry Needs' as keynote speakers and panelists. The event was attended by more than 100 mid to senior #HRProfessionals from across various industry sectors. Close to 300 #studentmanagers also participated in various sessions. The talks about contemporary and future #HRPractices by the dignified keynote speakers as well as the panelists were highly thought-provoking.

Sharing an extract from the event, A Panel Discussion on “Workplace Diversity: Strategizing for Business Success.”

The discussion was moderated by Dr. Grace Samson, Vice President & HR Head - Informatica India, and had a highly experienced panel consisting of Mr. Yasmeen Shaikh, Senior Director, Human Resources, Member of the India Board of Directors NextGen Healthcare, Mr. Yamini Krishnan Senior Director - HR, AMESA RBU at IQVIA, Ms. Harini Muralidharan, Head of People Partnering, Colleague Relations & Colleague Listening, Tesco, Ms. Rajita Singh Head HR at Broadridge, & Mr. Anirvan Mukherjee, Director HR CGI

Key #Learnings from Panel Discussion:

· #Organization promoting #Inclusive Culture have survived Pandemic effect better

· Including # non-discrimination policies (like merit as the basis for pay and promotions and training on the implicit basis

· To make #diversity initiatives work it should be recognized and awarded diversity initiatives don’t always work as intended, and what we can do to try to make them more effective

· Working on #Diversity metrics required a prolonged effort from the organization
