How to Expunge Your Criminal Record in Wisconsin

A lot of people who have had a criminal conviction are interested in learning more about expungement or erasing their criminal record. Expungement is possible in certain limited circumstances. Expungement is sealing the court record so the public cannot access it. However, in the state of #Wisconsin, there is a state agency called the Crime History Bureau which maintains a database called the Crime History Repository. Even if a Wisconsin court grants you an expungement, only court records are sealed. The record of conviction will still be accessible via the Crime History Bureau.
