Gears 5 Has been Crushing reviews lately, with many claiming its the best and biggest gears yet, but that is a massive overstatement. There is a lot to love with gears 5, but there is also a lot to hate! This game is such a LET DOWN with its PREDATORY microtransactions, AWFUL rewards, HORRIBLE AI, TERRIBLE game physics, LAZY animations, and ETC! And people are DEFENDING LESS CONTENT? In This Video I try my best to explain why this game may be good by today's standards, but bad when being compared to the other games in the gears of war series.

Gears 5 is crushing it right now with most critics and reviewers, who are all claiming this is the best Xbox one game yet, and a system seller, with a fantastic story, great graphics, and innovative gameplay, and I agree with critics on all of these fronts, but what most critics and fans of the series are failing to touch on or see, is a massive list of shortcomings, that make this game one of the biggest let downs for a die hard gears fan like me. This game has some of the worst microtransactions, I’ve ever seen in a triple A game, awful progression rewards, terrible game physics, and downgrades in the gore, animations, weapons sounds, and some of the stupidest AI I’ve seen in any game. Moreover gears 5 has an insultingly small roster, a disappointing horde offering, that greatly limits personal choice in playstyle, low enemy diversity with half the enemies not being fun to fight, the new hyped up mode escape, feels more like a minor feature, instead of the showstopper that the coalition wants it to be, the multiplayer suffers from a multitude of changes and imbalances, and worst yet, this game’s stability and number of bugs at launch, is entirely unacceptable for a big budget release. This is being touted as the biggest and best gears yet by the marketing, and so far both of those statements, fail at accurately describing this game, and one more thing I’ve noticed, that is so incredibly strange for me, is the games subreddit, is mostly full of people who will defend every single issue in this game, and downvote every comment that even makes an objective statement.
