Описание к видео 3 Commonly Missed Blood Tests in Women with Fatigue, Brain Fog & Hormone Imbalance

1. Full Thyroid Panel

Thyroid dysfunction is one of the most common—but often underdiagnosed—causes of persistent fatigue, mood shifts, weight changes, and brain fog in women. Unfortunately, most conventional testing stops at TSH, which doesn’t tell the full story.

A comprehensive thyroid panel includes Free T3, Free T4, Reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies. These additional markers help assess how well your thyroid is producing and converting hormones, and whether an autoimmune process (like Hashimoto’s) is contributing to symptoms. Even with a “normal” TSH, many women still have suboptimal thyroid function that can significantly affect their quality of life.

2. Full Iron Panel (Including Ferritin)

Iron is essential for oxygen transport and cellular energy. Low iron—particularly low ferritin—can contribute to fatigue, hair thinning, easy bruising, brain fog, and poor exercise tolerance.

Ferritin reflects the body’s stored iron and is often one of the first markers to decline, especially in menstruating women. A full iron panel should include ferritin, serum iron, total iron-binding capacity (TIBC), and iron saturation. Many women are told their iron is fine based on a CBC (complete blood count) alone, while low ferritin levels continue to cause significant symptoms. Identifying and correcting these imbalances can dramatically improve energy and vitality.

3. Homocysteine

Homocysteine is an important but frequently overlooked marker that reflects both systemic inflammation and methylation function. Elevated levels may indicate increased cardiovascular risk, but also suggest poor detoxification, nutritional deficiencies (especially B12, B6, and folate), or an underlying MTHFR gene variant. Impaired methylation can affect hormone clearance, cognitive function, and mood regulation—key concerns for many women.

If you’re located in California or New Mexico and are interested in getting your levels tested and working together to identify the root causes of fatigue and hormone imbalance, comment “TESTING” below to get started.
