Pasadena CA personal trainer, Ron Le, will review his 5 steps to help you reach your fitness goals. He will explain each step and how it will aide you in achieving your goals.

Hi, my name is Ron Le and I am a certified personal trainer from Pasadena CA. Today, I would love to tell you guys about the five components that I feel are absolutely necessary, in order to lose weight through my experience working as a Pasadena personal trainer over the years.

The first step of a successful program is that you MUST set measurable goals! Instead of saying "I want to lose weight, say I want to lose 62 pounds in 11 months and bring my cholesterol level back down to normal." Be truly honest with yourself, set a goal you DESIRE and do not sell yourself short by only setting a goal you think you can achieve. Big goals and dreams are more exciting to work for than ones you have to settle for through fear.

The second component of a successful program is Weight Training. Studies show that more muscles equal a faster metabolism. So in order to lose weight and keep it off permanently you need to retain muscle! A knowledgeable Pasadena CA personal trainer will make sure that you are using proper form in order to prevent injuries. He will also let you know which exercises to use, and how many sets and reps should be done.

The third and very important aspect of weight loss is nutrition. Do you know how many calories you should be eating? How many grams of protein, carbohydrate, and fats? How about what types of food you should be eating in order to lose weight? And when should you eat what? I answer these questions for my clients by helping them make a meal plan with the appropriate macro-nutrients in a way that they can easily incorporate into their current lifestyle.

The fourth and often overlooked component of weight loss is recovery. The faster you can recover means the better you can perform, and the better you can perform means the better you will look! For my Pasadena Ca personal training clients I will design a solid and fully customized program that will allow them to recover in between workouts.

The fifth and final component is accountability.
