Ardoyne and Marrowbone sing 12 days of Christmas

20 schools, youth clubs, playgroups and community groups based in the Ardoyne and Marrowbone area of Belfast have got together to bring you the 12 days of Christmas, in a community video by Ardoyne Youth Enterprise.
Ardoyne Youth Enterprise is a youth and community development non-profit. We do youth outreach detached work, personal development and training programmes for young people, develop cross-community and diversity initiatives, and provide support to youth providers in and around the area.
Ardoyne Youth Enterprise has produced two Christmas videos: Ardoyne and Marrowbone Do Jingle Bells (2017), and this new production, ready for Christmas 2019. We developed a series of community interviews called 'Speak Up Ardoyne and Marrowbone', also available on our YouTube Channel which allows local residents and workers to speak about what the area means to them, their worries and their hopes for the community.
North Belfast Street Team and MADE videos record aspects of our work:
joint outreach work with our neighbours in Ballysillan, Woodvale and New Lodge;
a cross-community youth programme that explores various aspects of diversity and social action: Monkstown Ardoyne Diversity and Empowerment programme.
We also produced What's Up Ardoyne and Marrowbone, a guide to youth and community services in the area, and Listen Up, a survey of young people assessing their sense of community belonging and community safety. They can be found on our website: www.ardoyne.org.
