Is Parking on an Unadopted Road Classed as Trespassing?

After one of my lads parked on an unadopted road unwittingly I thought I would explore the consequences. Believe it or not it can be classed as trespassing. Edit: apologies about the typo in the first section about the legal references. "An adopted" should read "Unadopted" 👍🏼
