Making up lost travel time today! about 40 Miles today

We left Oquawka, IL today and headed to Lock and Dam #18 in Gladstone, IL and then continued on to Fort Madison, IA to refuel. We stopped at Fort Madison Marina city dock got down the electric bike and Captain Donovan went and got some gas for us! We headed back out to the Mighty Mississippi River and kept going until the Sun started to set! We put on close to 40 miles today! We stopped North of Lock and Dam #19. We anchored close to the shoreline just outside of the channel and we will head to the Lock and Dam in the morning!
