This was shot in 2008 at Iwatayama Monkey Park (嵐山モンキーパーク) in Kyoto. This park can be assessed by taking the Hankyu trains. It is one of my favorite places in Japan. The admission price is fairly cheap and right outside the park is a river where you can rent a rowboat. This park has at least two advantages over the monkey park in Jigokudani in Nagano - you can feed the monkeys and it's much more accessible. If you are in the Kansai area, I highly recommend you don't miss this place.
