Leiden canal parade 2023 was held on the 02th September in Leiden Netherlands. Many boats participated in this first ever edition of Pride Leiden Leiden canal parade 2023.
There were around 50 boats participating from which the LUMC, The Leiden University, MBO Rijnland, Minorva student union and many cooperate companies. They represented their pride in Leiden canal parade 2023. It was the first ever Pride Leiden to be organized to the public. Usually the parade Amsterdam is famous but this time as a smaller alternative, the Leiden canal parade 2023 was organized.
Pride Leiden 2023 is an event organized by the LGBTHQ+ community in Leiden together with the city hall in Leiden and also many private sponsors. Through this event Priden Leiden 2023, people try to bring awareness and also celebrate that the freedom to live as whoever you are, irrespective of your sexual preference. There were around 20,000 spectators on the 02nd September along the canals of Leiden to witness the Pride Leiden/ Leiden canal parade 2023
