Choreography to "Give Me The Night" by George Benson at Danzpeople

Hi everyone! This was a piece I made in the first trimester of my first pregnancy, for the last class that I would teach at Danz People. :') I spent exactly 2 years @ Danz People from Mar '11 to '13, and I treasure every memory of every person who came to dance with me.

The class was renamed Hip Hop Soul along the way, and I'm glad this piece shows off everything I wanted to advocate thru the class. My performance is kinda wobbly as I did not dare to full out, sorry about that (and don't tell my mom), but DO CHECK OUT EVERY SINGLE DANCER'S INTERPRETATION!!! You guys are sick -- and I seldom use this term hahahah. And the best part is you guys are not just wonderful dancers but also wonderful PEOPLE. The best of you shines through when you dance.

Thanks for coming down and for dancing without inhibition. It also really helped that many of you are grounded in basic techniques and were able to turn the choreography from something ordinary to something super NASTEH. That said, if I have the chance, will do this piece again because obviously there's so much more we can do which we didn't have the time to. Ok enough said! Keep dancing!!

p.s. Sorry it was quite a leap from George Benson to Rumi at the end but I found that quote so apt, lol.
