We didn't know Mexico looked like this 🏞️🐊

After arriving to San Cristóbal de las Casas for a few days, we were told that this Canyon was not a place to miss.
We paid 500 pesos each and were picked up at 9am at our hostel for an all day adventure to Canon Del Sumidero.

The shuttle ride was 1.5 hours from San Cris to the top of the Canyon and we only stayed there for 20 minutes lol
Although our ride to the bottom of the canyon was ANOTHER 1.5 hours, our expectations were pleasantly exceeded with the sheer beauty and boat ride experience.

About an hour on the boat with a lovely tour guide (we understood 15% of what he said) We are learning!!
Lots of Crocodiles and a couple of cheeky spider-monkeys.
And a shocking amount of Pollution.
