Tim's story: From pants on fire to Earth Hour (Leadership Transformation)

Описание к видео Tim's story: From pants on fire to Earth Hour (Leadership Transformation)

This is Tim Castree, former CEO (Sydney) of advertising giant Leo Burnett, and co-founder of Earth Hour.

Tim is speaking about his 'fire' - that is, the motivational forces that enabled him to shift from 'burning platform' to 'burning ambition'. He talks about how he went from a state of fear, paranoia and mental turbulence early in his leadership reign, to fulfilling his purpose "to live a big and authentic live" and to connect the creative energy of his company to worthy social causes.

Tim was one of seven CEO case studies in Peter Fuda's doctoral research on 'Leadership Transformation'. The findings on how leaders transform have been creatively presented in the form of seven metaphors (Fire, Snowball, Master chef, Coach, Mask, Movie and Russian Dolls). This footage is part of a feature length documentary that brings the metaphors to life, in the words of the leaders who lived them.

For more information on the research, the metaphors, and Peter's approach to transformation, go to www.peterfuda.com. The documentary was produced by Seven Stories (www.sevenstories.com) and distribution rights for the film are currently being negotiated.
