Demagnetizing a 30 inch 9 chrome pipe using AC welding power.
Wrap your pipe with one welding lead 6-10 times (more is better) direction doesn't matter as you are using AC.
Clamp the ground, turn your amps all the way up (250 or so) have a person connect the stinger while you turn down the amperage slowly.
Have the other person remove the stinger. doing this a time or two will take away the magnetic field. do each end of the pipe that is magnetized.
be sure to do this in a safe manner with proper PPE. I assume no responsibility for this procedure. Try at your own risk.
