一堂由老師以身作則的生命教育 Lead with Compassion: My Valuable Lesson on Inclusion | 余懷瑾 Huai Chi Yu | TEDxTaipei

對一般老師來說，班上有一個身心障礙的學生是一個不小的負擔，不但要學生本人擔心是否能夠適應，其他學生也可能會有霸凌的行為。余懷瑾作為一名老師，對此有切身的體會，但她也從中摸索出一套班級經營的方式，只要老師願意以身作則，展現出真誠的愛心和耐心，學生們必定也能感受到，進而學習到如何跟與自己不同的學生相處。

Any teacher would agree that a class with a disabled student can be a challege for both student and teacher. Huai Chi Yu, a high school teacher with a special needs child in her class, has personally managed to integrate the student into her class with her own unique methods. In this engaging talk, Yu shares how her students learned valuable lessons like empathy, tolerance, and patience from having a special classmate as a part of their group.

余懷瑾，高中國文老師，學生都叫她「仙女」。在她的課堂，學生熱情而願意表達，充滿笑聲與生命力。她說：「文學不只能賞析，也能解決人生的問題」，讓生命教育結合國文教學，從課堂到生活，自然而然；從校園擴及社會，推己及人。 103年獲得全國SUPER教師-評審團特別獎。

Huai-chi Yu, a senior high school teacher who teaches Chinese literature, is like a "Fairy Godmother" to her students. In her class, students are always enthusiastic and expressive, full of laughter and vitality. She believes that “literature is not only meant for appreciating and analyzing; it can also help solve problems in life.” Her teaching techniques have integrated life education with Chinese literature so that lessons from classroom to real life are easily incorporated to society.

This "Fairy Godmother" was presented with the distinguished Super Teacher Award in 2014.
