Those hoping for lyrics like they got on my last upload can go whistle, because I can't understand what she's toasting clearly enough to say for definite what they are.

If ever I got hold of some proper editing software this would be one record I would slice to bits and partially rearrange; verses are verses as far as I'm concerned, and this record has long instrumental breaks in the middle of places where they shouldn't be and vocals missing from places they should be - though I suspect that's not Kinky's fault. Where is the measure containing "religion's a scam" present in the 8 minute version on YouTube – as far as I know Apollo 440 weren't bowdlerising bible-bashers – and why isn't there a chorus following "I miss me music" at the end of the record like there is on the video edit. And why does it take a minute and a half before it gets into a proper verse! What a mess.

Mind you, it's got to be said that Kinky was at her finest when on other people's records, Generations of Love and Take a Chance on Me were both excellent records, her new Endor record Fever was very good if only a little repetitive, but for pure truculence you can't beat her feature on Wayward Soul's Real Wild Child, which I might possibly upload if I can find the parent album going cheap…

Oh, and a note to self; don't create videos in the .avi format. They take ages to export and even longer to upload. And it chopped off the first four minutes or so, meaning I had to use a different app and a different file type in the end. I wonder if the video being in that format disrupts YouTube converters?
